Use an image combiner when you want two photos side by side, a before-and-after comparison or screenshots stacked into a single picture. This image merger joins the complete pictures in order, without cropping their edges or stretching their proportions.
Put two photos side by side
- Choose your JPG, PNG or WebP files together. You can select up to 12 static images.
- Choose Side by side and set the maximum height. Smaller images stay at their original size unless you enable enlargement.
- Set the spacing to zero for touching edges or add a gap. Choose an alignment for images with different heights.
- Use Move earlier or Move later below each filename to change their order. Choose Combine images to apply your layout.
- Check the preview, choose an output format and Prepare download.
Combine images vertically
Choose One above another to make a vertical strip. The size setting now controls the maximum width. For example, two 800 × 600 images at a width of 800 with a 20-pixel gap produce an 800 × 1220 image. A horizontal arrangement of those same images produces 1620 × 600 pixels. The gap appears only between the images.
Choose transparent or coloured gaps
Transparent backgrounds are useful when placing the result over another design. Export as PNG or WebP to keep transparency. JPG fills transparent areas white. Choose Solid colour and select a background colour for visible gaps and space beside smaller images.
Keep image quality in mind
The combiner keeps each photo’s aspect ratio. It does not recover detail when enlarging a small image. Start with good source images and avoid repeatedly saving as lossy JPG. For long strips, reduce the maximum width or height until the result fits the 8-megapixel and 8,192-pixel-per-side output limits. Inputs support up to 20 MB and 8 MP each, with 80 MB and 24 MP across the selection.
Image merger or collage maker?
Use Image Combiner for a single row or column with uncropped photos. Use Collage Maker when you want a grid with fixed cells. This tool does not automatically stitch overlapping screenshots or panoramas, and it does not blend photographs together.
Privacy and your originals
Images stay on your device during processing. Export creates a flattened copy without the source files’ metadata; your originals are untouched. Download the result before closing the page, and check faces, text and image order before sharing it.
